Road to Rail Construction was founded in December 2020 by Matt Reber and Brandon Boden with a vision of building a company known for quality workmanship, reliability and strong industry relationships.
What began as a small operation with a single backhoe — working railroad maintenance — quickly evolved into one of Alberta's fastest-growing construction companies. Through hard work, strategic growth and an unwavering commitment to our clients, RTRC has expanded from a modest startup into a diversified contractor serving projects across the province.
A defining milestone came in 2022 with the successful completion of the West Yellowhead Regional Landfill Cell 8 Project near Hinton, Alberta. Faced with severe weather, wildfire disruptions, highway closures, evacuations and supply chain challenges, our team demonstrated the resilience and determination that define our company today — completing the project safely and to the highest standard.
Today our services span civil construction, oilfield development, remediation and reclamation, aggregate production and hauling, heavy haul transportation, rail infrastructure, emergency response and mechanical services — delivered by a team of more than 90 dedicated employees and a modern equipment fleet.
