BATTLE RIVER RAILWAY- BRIDGE REPLACEMENT

RAIL CONSTRUCTION

On Driedmeat Creek, a tributary of the Battle River system, we embarked on a significant project involving the consecutive removal of three timber trestle bridges with buried concrete box culverts. The work was completed for Battle River Railway NGC Inc. This impressive project involved meticulous dewatering systems, rail penalization and removal, trestle bridge removals, concrete box culvert installation, re-installing panelized rail, lifting and lining followed by riprap and topsoil placement. Being an active and busy shortline railway, we were held to a strict 7 day track closure per bridge location. Despite challenging conditions, our dedicated team not only met these tight deadlines but also brought the railway back online ahead of schedule, a testament to our precision, efficiency, and commitment to customer satisfaction. This project exemplifies our expertise and unwavering focus on delivering quality results while exceeding expectations.
