Contaminated Material Remediation and Trucking
Road to Rail Construction Group Inc. (RTRC) successfully completed the remediation of 16,000 tonnes of contaminated material. RTRC introduced advanced drone surveying technology to guide precise excavation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the process. By leveraging techniques such as pocketed digs to carefully isolate failed material, RTRC reduced costs for the client while working safely around existing pipelines. The operation involved the use of two excavators, one dozer, and a dedicated fleet of trucks with quad wagons for effective hauling. These efforts laid the groundwork for the site’s future reclamation
CLEAN FILL SUPPLY, DELIVERy AND PLACEMENT
After the site successfully passed testing, Road to Rail Construction Group Inc. (RTRC) began the process of hauling and placing 16,000 tonnes of clean fill material sourced from multiple locations. Utilizing a dozer and packer, our team placed the material back in lifts, ensuring a stable and secure foundation. This phase also involved the continued use of our large fleet of trucks paired with quad wagons for efficient transportation. The site was strategically prepared for us to return in the fall and complete the final reclamation phase
